Compact and lightweight at just ~97 g (3.4 oz), this official Nikon Speedlight offers i‑TTL balanced fill‑flash for compatible DSLR and COOLPIX cameras. With a guide number of 18 m (59 ft) at ISO 100, and a bounce-capable flash head tilting up to 120° (no swivel), it’s ideal for soft indoor lighting and travel use. Runs on two AAA batteries (rechargeable Ni-MH or alkaline), with a recycle time of ~3.5 sec (Ni‑MH) or ~4 sec (alkaline). Supports automatic exposure (i‑TTL), test firing, and pre‑flash monitoring but does not offer autofocus assist, manual flash mode, or high-speed sync. Released in 2013 as Nikon’s smallest i‑TTL shoe-mount flash.
