This Canon EF 28-80 f/ 3.5-5.6 USM is the first version of a low-end kit lens with a 28-80 mm variable focal length for Canon EOS film and digital SLR cameras. Canon issued five variants of the lens, each of which had two versions: with and without USM. This first variant of the lens is considered to be the most successful. Its optical system had never been borrowed by the lenses of this series. Features a convenient range of focal lengths, it has very good optical quality.
