Both dials turn easily and it is easy to adjust, although given that they overhang from the top plate this characteristic isn’t always desirable, as either is easily knocked out of place.
The user’s forefinger does not naturally sit flush against the front plate when the camera is held conventionally.
The Canon powershot G15 replaces the two year old canon powershot G12 introducing a new 12.1 Megapixel CMOS sensor to replace the ageing 10 Megapixel CCD sensor of the Canon powershot G12. It has a new lens with the same 5x range as the Canon powershot G12, but its f1.8-2.8 maximum space is over a stop brighter throughout the range.
