The Nikon AF Nikkor 24-120mm F/3.5-5.6D Lens it is an auto focus medium range zoom lens for Nikon 35mm film SLR cameras nikon Digital SLR cameras. It’s versatile lens that covers format cameras (full 35mm film frame) that takes great images in a variety of settings.
The zoom range of this lens IF starts well inside wide angle area at 24mm which yields a 84° angle of view; that’s some 10° wider than more common 28mm lenses. The 5X zoom range tops out at 120mm, quite a bit inside portrait lens territory. The lens is also use able on DX format digital cameras where it uses the higher resolution center area to produce an angles of view equivalent to what a moderately wide-angle 36mm to correctly telephoto 180mm full frame lens would produce on FX format.
