This Panasonic LUMIX DMC-GF2 12.1MP Camera is a smaller, externally simpler version of the GF1, with some interesting upgrades and a few extra features. The smaller black body of the Panasonic LUMIX DMC-GF2 is 113 mm wide, 68 mm high, and 33 mm deep, and it weighs approximately 265 g. On the back, this compact digital camera features a 3-inch (7.6-cm) touch-sensitive TFT LCD monitor, which replaces a number of external controls and allows the user to check every phase of the shooting through a simple and intuitive menu. Unlike its predecessor, this Panasonic 12.1 MP camera has full HD movie recording capability (1080i at 60 fps from 30p capture), which is supported by a stereo microphone on the top plate.
At the same time, the Panasonic LUMIX DMC-GF2 shoots still photos at 2.6 fps while maintaining live view. It features ISO 6400 maximum sensitivity, an improved Auto ISO program, and a dedicated iAuto button. This compact digital camera is compatible with a wide range of lenses, including the 3D-featured H-FT012 lens. This Panasonic 12.1 MP camera also offers a set of manual, semi-manual, and automatic shooting options, and supports touch focus and touch shutter through its touchscreen.
